The king suite was delightful, featuring a beautiful balcony with stunning views, perfect for enjoying the scenery. The breakfast was outstanding, served by friendly hosts who made each morning special. the room lacked sufficient storage space with minimal hanging options, and the toiletries provided were quite basic. The spiral staircase was also a bit uncomfortable on bare feet, detracting from the overall experience.

Just a great match for a rapid stop in Grasmere with attractive and competitive value for money. Our room was perfectly designed with a huge bathroom, which made our stay very comfortable. If you're looking for good breakfast options, make sure to ask about the gingerbread!

The King Suite with Balcony offers stunning Lakeland views and the comfort of generous space. The bathroom features a large walk-in shower and a deep bath, making it perfect for unwinding after a long day.

Mornings can be a little jarring with lorries passing by and waking you at 7:30 am. Breakfast is served until 9:00 am, which might be an inconvenience for those who prefer a lazy start, especially after a long night. low beams in the suite can catch you off guard, and access might require some careful navigation past furniture.

The breakfast was outstanding! Freshly cooked, excellent variety, and so plentiful. Our room felt cozy and was clean, though the stairs were a bit tricky for me. Hiked lovely trails right from the lodge! 😊
